REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Resignation/Cancellation of Membership

​

If you choose to resign your membership (or your membership is cancelled) part way through the period you have registered for as part of your membership plan (month or trimester), you will still need to pay your full membership fee for the remainder of that period. Refunds will be at the discretion of The Shaka Club LLC. 

 

Event Cancellation

 

The below event cancellation policies are in place because no-shows and last-minute cancellations take spots away from other members who would like to attend and cost the club and our partners losses in time and resources.

To cancel your spot at an event, please email info@theshakaclub.com in line with the stated policy below. Exceptions for cancellations can only be made in special circumstances at the discretion of The Shaka Club LLC.

Policy

​

Members (Users on Active Membership Plans):

​

Unless otherwise stated on the event page for a specific event, members who notify us that they need to cancel their attendance to an event for which they have a purchased ticket 24 hours or more prior to the start time of that event will receive a credit for the raw ticket price they paid. This credit will come in the form of a coupon or points in their account, which they can apply when purchasing future event tickets at checkout. 

 

If members tell us within 24 hours of the start time of the event for which they have a purchased ticket, we cannot offer a full credit. Members will either receive a partial credit or no credit at all, depending on the particular restrictions around the event. Exceptions can be made in special circumstances at the discretion of The Shaka Club LLC.

If a specific event has a different cancellation policy, it will be stated on the event page, and that statement will supersede this policy in those circumstances. 

 

For events that Shaka has to cancel for any reason, we will provide a refund for the full amount paid (including the service fee).​

If there are changes to these policies, you will be notified. Refunds will be at the discretion of The Shaka Club LLC.

Non-Member Event Attendees:

 

Unless otherwise stated on the event page for a specific event, non-member attendees who notify us that they need to cancel their attendance to an event for which they have a purchased ticket 72 hours or more prior to the start time of that event will receive a credit for the raw ticket price they paid. This credit will come in the form of a coupon or points in their account, which they can apply when purchasing future event tickets at checkout. 

 

If members tell us within 24 and 72 hours of the start time of the event for which they have a purchased ticket, they will receive a credit for the amount their paid less a $5 cancellation fee. No credit can be offered if a cancellation is received within 24 hours of the start time of an event. Exceptions can be made in special circumstances at the discretion of The Shaka Club LLC.

If a specific event has a different cancellation policy, it will be stated on the event page, and that statement will supersede this policy in those circumstances.
