Okay, so maybe it won't be a full-on Alex Honnold moment, since you will have the safety of a harness that's anchored to the wall and attached to a seasoned pro from the Brooklyn Boulders team who will be offering as much or as little help as you need. But it will still be just as epic!!

This has been one of the most highly requested events, so grab your spot while availability lasts!

Here's what's included:

• All equipment (including climbing shoes, harness, chalk, etc.)
• Climbing gym access (usually only available if you have a gym membership or a separate day pass)
• Two hours of climbing (you can enjoy as much climbing time and rest/social time as you like during that period!)
• Multiple belay-certified instructors (climbing the high wall in climbing gyms requires the assistance of someone who is belay-certified, so these instructors will enable multiple people to climb different areas of the wall at once)
• On-site support by a Shaka team member (who can take pictures and videos of you on the wall so you can capture your awesomeness in real time!)

Here's what to know:

• You do not need to know how to climb to attend! ALL skill levels are welcome. The climbing pros will be able to give you as much or as little help as you need, and they will be able to make it as easy or as challenging as you would like it to be.
• You do not need to know how to belay. The climbing pros will get you set up in your harness, clip you in, and tell you everything you need to know. In other words, unless you have a friend who is belay-certified and you trust completely, it would literally be impossible for you to climb these high walls without the instructors we are providing through BKB!
• If you're scared of heights, you will still have fun! Shaka twin & co-founder Caitlin was so nervous when she and Kelly did their first climbing experience at Brooklyn Boulders, but she ended up having so much fun once she realized how easy it could be in the harness!
• Locker rooms and bathrooms will be available for your use on site. If you want to lock your stuff in a locker, you will need to bring your own lock. You can also purchase snacks, bottled water, energy drinks, etc. on site if you would like.

**This experience has a unique refund and cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your spot, you must do so no less than one week in advance of the event. Refunds & credits are at the discretion of the Shaka Club and Brooklyn Boulders.
