Come springtime, everyone is itching to get out of the city and into nature, but it can be hard to get a group together and plan a great hike and travel itinerary. Well, we have good news - for Shaka members, it just got a whole lot easier! 

So grab your hiking boots, a backpack, and some sunscreen because we are heading up to the Hudson Valley for a day trip to the beautiful town of Beacon!

We'll meet at Grand Central at 10:15 AM and hop on the Metro North at 10:45 AM, arriving at our destination about 1.5 hours later. From there, we'll hop in some pre-scheduled ubers and stop at a general store so people can load up on whatever provisions they need and use the restroom. 

We'll then embark on our hike between 1 and 1:30 PM and take in the stunning scenery (and maybe even…
